Hire me to build an MVP for your idea.
You have an idea for a digital product, an app, a website, an interface. The only way to understand their worth is to try. Maybe you have a whole business figured out and need to try it out in short time. Write me at hello@myshkin.eu and let’s make it happen. Here’s how I’ll do it.
What I do
I’ll build an MVP or a full product based on your idea. I will do it with minimum dependencies in a way that (A) you won’t need specialised talent to move the project further, and (B) you could freeze the project and it won’t require updates to pick it up again.
The result will consist of necessary components that solve your problem. If your idea could be solved by a single file that you keep on your desktop it’ll stay at that. If it requires a server, only than there’ll be one. If there’s little state to keep we can skip the database.
Why me
Curiosity — I will listen and understand your idea. I’ll ask questions that will help crystallise it. I’ll figure out the exact problem we need to solve.
Focus — I won’t go out of scope or do cool things that don’t bring value. I will solve problems that bring the project to its goal the quickest.
Flexibility — changing course is part of the journey. If we realise that there’s a better problem to solve we can regroup. Everything is set up to make it natural to do. There’s no wasted effort and no sentiment for the code written.
Lightness — the result won’t rely on unnecessary dependencies. There will be little to set up and nothing to update. It’ll run independently now and in ten years. If you decide to put it on hold you don’t need to worry about migrations or what cloud providers go out of business or get acquired. It will run on any computer.
Why not a spreadsheet
If I figure out a way to solve your problem with a good old spreadsheet I will. I won’t make a discount but I’ll ship it sooner.
Why not AI
If your problem is solvable by AI — that’s great! You don’t need my help. Reach out though when it breaks or becomes unusable.
Why not an agency
Agencies are great at solving problems that fit their expertise. Notice the words like “custom” or “we could, but” though — they hint at uncertainty concerns. There’re few people in agencies who could be trusted with uncertainty and those are likely to be assigned to much bigger projects.
Why wait
Don’t. A working product is better than a hundred words brief. Let’s talk: hello@myshkin.eu.
